Missional Giving Sunday March 26th
Missional Giving Sunday is March 26th!
"For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in…whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me."
Matthew 25:35 & 40
Matthew 25:35 & 40
On Sunday March 26th starting at 12:01am, all offerings collected in person and digitally will go to help with food and housing needs in our region. We will work with our local partners to provide not only funding, but personal engagement from each of our locations with these agencies. Partner agencies will include Habitat for Humanity, HouseN2Home, and local pantries Food Gatherers, Open Door Ministries, and Faith In Action. Read on to hear more about our partnership with each organization.
Habitat for Humanity
Habitat for Humanity of Huron Valley works to enrich Washtenaw County through a legacy of affordable homeownership for families of low-income and engages their neighbors to build better neighborhoods through volunteer, donation, partnership and ReStore efforts. Grace Church has participated in network-wide builds hosted by Habitat.

HouseN2Home
HouseN2Home is a group of volunteers from southeast Michigan who help to provide furnishings for people who are moving out of homeless shelters and into rental housing. Grace Church members have volunteered to help furnish apartments, organizing everything from living room and bedroom furniture set up to collecting kitchen essentials and artwork to make clients feel like they have arrived home.

Local Food Pantries - Food Gatherers, Faith In Action & Open Door Ministries
The Ann Arbor and Canton areas are blessed to have a great network of local food pantries that also provide additional services to those in need, including help with applying to jobs, counseling, clothing drives, etc. Grace Church has run food drives hosted by various ministries within our network including community groups, Grace Student Ministries, and Grace Kids to support these local organizations as they support those in need in our area.
We are grateful for the partnerships we have been able to cultivate over the years and are excited to be deepening that partnership on March 26th.
