Grace Canton Pastoral update and news

THE SACRED WAY:
This Sunday marks the halfway point of this series. It is so easy to forget about what is most critical in life, especially in the midst of schedules that are jammed full of activities. God has been using this series as a great reminder and refreshment of my heart, discipleship and faith. I can't wait to see what God does this coming Sunday as we continue pursing The Sacred Way.
THE HARVEST PARTY:
The Harvest Party is just around the corner (October 30th from 4:00-6:30pm). Don't forget to save the date and register for the Chili cook off. Click the button below to register your chili.
THE TIDES OF LIFE:
The church is a family. As a family, we celebrate together, laugh together, grieve together, worship together and so much more. It is a thing of beauty to watch our church family serve, encourage and love one another throughout the tides of life. I want to take a brief moment and update you regarding one of our Grace Canton family members.
Ian Nieh is the student ministry director at Grace Canton, and a couple weeks ago his wife, Laura, accepted a new job with a new company. They are really excited about the role and it appears to be a great fit for her God given talents, skills and passion. Laura is able to work remote for the next 12 months, but they plan to relocate to Chicago in the fall of 2022. This means that this will be Ian’s last year on staff at Grace Canton. While Ian and Laura are looking forward to the next season of life, they have chosen to stay in Canton for the rest of this school year because of how excited they are about this current ministry year and how they can pour into the students. Ian has a full schedule planned for GSM throughout the year and he is anticipating God moving in great ways.
While the Nieh’s move won’t take place for almost a full year, I wanted to let you know so that we could celebrate with them, encourage them and and pray for them. We will take some time in the Summer of 2022, to express our appreciation and gratitude prior to their moving. After all, we are family.
