Easter Preparations and Staff Transition

Easter Preparations and Staff Transition

Holy Week is fast approaching and we are making preparations for an impactful week of worship and celebration that kicks off this Sunday morning at our regularly scheduled services at 9:30 and 11 AM. See our Good Friday and Easter service times below.
Good Friday Service
Friday, April 15 @ 6:30 pm

We hope you will gather with us on this bittersweet day to remember and reflect on Jesus Christ’s costly sacrifice on the cross and his forgiveness that flows from the cross to us.

Easter Services
Sunday, April 17 @ 8:30, 10, 11:30

Our week of worship will culminate on Easter Sunday with a time of meaningful celebration and a compelling message about the resurrection and its relevance to us.

I want to encourage all of us to make time and space to journey with Jesus through our services on Good Friday and Easter Sunday and experience the full range of emotions that accompany all the events of this week historically known as “Passion Week”.

Please note that GraceKids will be available for kids ages 2.5 yrs. - 5th Grade at the 10 AM and 11:30 AM services.
GraceKids will not be open during the 8:30 AM service.

*We also are counting on you to get invitations to our Easter services out to family and friends. See digital resources you can easily save and share at the end of this email.
Staff Transition: Amy Breza
I want to inform you about a significant transition taking place this month with one of our valued staff members at Grace Ann Arbor. Amy Breza has decided to transition out of her position as our Director of Discipleship in Mid-April. She has served as a rockstar in the role of Children’s Ministry Director and briefly as our Director of Discipleship for the past five years. The combination of her leadership, relational, and administrative skills have been a beautiful gift to our staff, congregation, and GraceKids ministry. She will be dearly missed as a staff member. At the same time, we will continue to enjoy her ongoing leadership impact here at Grace as a discipleship coach, Community Group leader, and invested member of our congregation. I encourage you to say a huge thanks to Amy for her faithful and impactful service. Below is a statement from Amy.
"Being in ministry with Grace for over five years has given me the opportunity to use the gifts that God has given me while exploring my personal ministry calling. Since October 2019, I've worked part-time as a mental health professional and began taking seminary courses for a Master of Divinity, which I’m scheduled to complete this year. Most recently, I have felt God leading me to full-time work as a Christian counselor with my private practice. Grace is our family's home church, and we look forward to continuing to share life together."
Our destiny is forever changed by the historical events of Good Friday and Easter! Our Great and Awesome God has given us this incredible message of hope and salvation not only to reflect through our words and actions, but in this age, to also share through our social media feeds. So let’s lean in together and get this invitation out.

With Great Anticipation,

Jon Beyer
