Missional Opportunties
Dear Grace family,
We are on the doorstep of the holiday season. Very soon we’ll be gathering around tables to celebrate Thanksgiving and just a few weeks after that, we’ll be gathering around decorated trees to celebrate Christmas. For many of us, we look forward to this season and anticipate great celebrations. However, for others us, this can be a very difficult season and we anticipate grief and struggle. As a result, this becomes a wonderful opportunity for the church to bring hope and love to those in our local communities. Here are a few opportunities for us to support some of our local missional partners during the holiday season.
HOPE CLINIC: FOOD DRIVE Nov 7th -21st.
This is their busiest season and biggest season of need. For the next three weeks, we are doing a food drive that will support Hope’s Thanksgiving meal ministry. Click HERE for the list of items that Hope is collecting. All purchased items must be returned to Grace Canton, no later than Nov. 21st. Grace Canton is planning on delivering all of the collective items on Monday, Nov. 22nd.
HESED CHRISTMAS STORE: Nob. 28 -Dec 12th.
For the past few years, Grace Church has come alongside our missional partner, Hesed Church, to serve the Brightmoor community. The Christmas Store is a way for families who are struggling to purchase gifts at a very affordable price. The gifts vary from clothing, coats, shoes, boots, toys, and electronics. This ministry helps the parents foster a sense of pride in providing and caring for their families. As a result, Hesed gets the opportunity to come alongside these families in ministry. There will be more information to come in the upcoming weeks.

THE SACRED WAY:
We are continuing our series this coming Sunday, Nov. 7th at Grace Canton during our 9:30 and 11:00am services. We will be discussing Luke 22:7-23 and the Sacred way of Communion; what it is and why it’s so critical to our faith. Don’t forget that GraceKids is available at both services and they are excited to receive and disciple your children.
Have a blessed week,
