Worshipping in person & upcoming opportunities to connect

Hopefully by now you have shoveled yourself out of your home, and you probably have sore muscles to prove it because February has ruthlessly greeted us with a full dose of winter. It’s also possible that your aches and pain come from helping us move the majority of our furnishings and supplies into three storage pods in the back of our parking lot this past Sunday! We are grateful to everyone who helped us move. What a gift to experience as a congregation the truth of the familiar proverb, “Many hands make light work.” The construction team has been in and out of our facility all week making plans for our major renovation project which we have been anticipating for the past 3 years as part of our “Beyond” Initiative, and deconstruction is scheduled to begin next week.

Worship In Person at Grace Ann Arbor at 9:30 & 11:00 AM

I want to make sure you are aware that throughout this renovation project, our plan is to remain in our facility holding in person worship services on Sunday mornings at our regular worship times of 9:30 & 11:00 AM. We also will continue to offer GraceKids each Sunday in a portion of our children’s ministry space for as long as possible. This Sunday we continue our series from the book of Ephesians called “Immeasurably More”.

Other Upcoming Opportunities To Connect

IF:Gathering 2022: Grace will be hosting this event (streamed gathering) at our Ann Arbor West location on March 4-5. This is an event for women who gather from all over the world to be encouraged and equipped to fulfill their calling to “Go and make disciples”. You can find out more information and sign-up HERE.

Newcomers Reception: On Sunday night, February 27th, my wife and I will be hosting at our home a newcomers reception for anybody who is new to Grace in this past year (or since the beginning of the pandemic if you have yet to attend). It is a great opportunity to meet our lead pastor, Sung Kim, other members of our staff, and connect with other new people at Grace. We also will be sure to enjoy a variety of appetizers and desserts. You can sign up to participate HERE.

Preparing for Marriage Class: We are excited to offer this class to couples who are engaged or seriously considering marriage to help equip and prepare them for marriage. This class includes an in person gathering on Saturday, February 26th from 9:00-11:30 AM and two virtual meetings on Sundays, March 13 & 20 from 6:00-7:30 PM.
