What is Beyond?
Ever since our doors opened in 2009, God has been doing a great work in and through our church. We have grown from a group of 40 people meeting in a small rented facility to 1,000 people meeting in three locations.
BEYOND is a three-year journey of generosity we’re taking together at Grace through which we will boldly trust God to go beyond our walls and to engage our community in ways we’ve never done before. This initiative is the largest step of faith we have ever taken as a church. In short, it is an invitation to go beyond ourselves, to stretch and to grow beyond what is comfortable so that all may know the name of Jesus Christ.

Beyond Our Walls
In order to best prepare for the growing impact of God’s faithfulness to Grace Church, we recognize the need to create new space with more room for more people to hear the gospel of Jesus Christ. When faced with the question “Do we stay or do we grow?” Grace Church has faithfully responded – we will grow!
We will serve more people in our cities, and we will reach more people for Christ. We will go beyond our walls to engage our community in ways that we’ve never done before. Through this initiative, we will transform our Ann Arbor location, pay off the renovations at Ann Arbor West, expand Canton for community involvement, and redouble our support for our existing local and global missional partners.

Beyond Ourselves
We are asking everyone who attends Grace to partner with us in this initiative. You can join us on this exciting journey by stepping up in four specific ways:
Pray – Pray for wisdom in choosing a new location for the Ann Arbor location, favor in developing community partnerships in our cities, and protection for the mission partners we are supporting.
Serve – If you are not currently serving on a team, take steps to become part of a ministry team. It takes all of us using our gifts and talents to be the kind of church God is calling us to be.
Invite – Make it part of your DNA to invite people to Grace. The initiative is really all about people. This journey will allow us to grow deeper in our faith, and it’s a great opportunity for those we don’t know yet to start their journey with God at Grace Church.
Invest – Invest in the vision of this initiative for Grace’s future. Will you generously give financially to see Grace’s vision become a reality? God is calling each one of us to trust Him with our limited resources to make an eternal impact.
