Preparing for Marriage
Is marriage in your near future? This class is designed for engaged and committed couples to help prepare and equip them to share life together as husband and wife. This class will gather for two Saturday morning sessions on March 9th and 23rd from 9 am - 12 pm. Breakfast snacks will be provided.
In addition to these two class sessions, couples will take a pre-marriage assessment and participate in a follow-up appointment with one of our marriage mentors to discuss the assessment and relevant topics from the class.
The registration cost is $25 per couple. Additional costs include purchasing the book The Meaning of Marriage by Timothy Keller (estimated cost $12) and a $35 online registration cost per couple for the pre-marriage assessment.
This class will be led by Roger and Shelia Bouchard, both of whom have Masters in Social Work, and they have taught classes related to marriage and family in the continental U.S., Hawaii, Guam, Japan and Okinawa for many years. They have been married for 45 years.
