This summer, GSM will be going on a mission trip to Detroit with the MACC Development Center July 9-15th! The purpose of this mission trip is to help students step out of their comfort zone, experience a different culture, and serve the community around them. We want to help students see that there are opportunities to partner with God in his mission of restoration and renewal right here in Southeast Michigan. This trip is as much about learning as it is about doing. We will be participating in projects of renewal within the city, but we will also spend time hearing from members of the community and learning about the city of Detroit. We hope that this experience will open the eyes of our students to see how God wants to use them to change the world.
